Montejaque, is a small romantic village, where many northern Europeans live or have second homes, a short drive from Ronda and a meeting point of many walking routes through the Sierra de Ronda and Grazalema. Also well known as a meeting point for anthropologists, mountaineers, walkers and nature lovers in general. It is here one finds this small hotel, located in the main plaza next to the town hall and village church. This converted substantial, nobleman’s house, was once the summer residence of the family Miguel de Mañara. The hotel maintains the fachade where the family arms have been moved up to a prominent position above the main entry. The hotel was opened in 1998.
Currently, it is closed to the public and is in need of a interior reform .
It offers on Ground floor a generous entry hall with reception, lounge area with chimney and areas for games and internet. To the right there is access to the bar/cafeteria, which also can be directly accessed from the plaza and to the general public if wished.
The cafeteria has a generous kitchen located behind the bar and from here there is access to the restaurant which opens onto the internal Patio.
From the reception and the restaurant there is access to a large typical Andaluz Patio, sunny and fresh where one can put parasols and lounges to enjoy a drink or an evening meal.
There is also a small swimming pool, a water well and access to a machine room.
On the same floor to the left of reception there are 3 toilets one of which meets the requiremnets for disabled persons, a storage room and the main staircase. These have sufficient space to install a lift.
On the first floor one finds an office and storage room and through  glass doors a passageway leads to 8 double bedrooms.
All the bedrooms are generous with balconies or large Windows, 5 of them overlook the main Plaza and the other 3 overlook the interior patio or the side street. They have fully equipped bathrooms, hot water from a diesel boiler and hot and cold air-conditioning.
On the second floor one finds a laundry room and a small roof terrace which could be used as an evening drinks area
